Establishing a plumbline in the hearts of God's people.

Out of a desperate need to understand why life felt so complicated, I began to comprehend how God integrated the mind, heart and the soul of people.  I found myself in desperate need to be free from distorted internal emotional, relational, and spiritual bondage.  I learned that my childhood traumas affected my view of my own identity which in turn directly affected my relationship dynamics.  I received counseling off and on for several years until I came to Plumbline.  The understanding of God through the pastoral style of counseling helped me to be free to relate to God and others.  It is my desire to minister to others in the same way God and others have ministered to me. My passion to help others experience the same freedom has led me to full-time ministry as an ordained Pastoral Counselor.

Since I began in 2004, I have continued my education receiving my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology as well as Master Level Splankna Practitioner.

I am currently providing Pastoral Care to many of our counselees here at Plumbline.  I have enjoyed teaching classes on Boundaries and Codependency.  I love working with families as well as individuals. My heart's desire is to connect with others and help them to be free from their own brokenness so they can pursue their passions.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not unto your own understanding, in all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your path."  Proverbs 3:5-6.

This has been a verse that has led my life since April 1, 1979. This is the day I believed Jesus to be my savior of my sins, and by His continued grace, the director of my life.  My journey has led me down the road of marriage to Steve. We have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.  We have home schooled all of our children. We currently live in Tulsa, OK.

     Walking in His grace,
