Erin Garcia PCC, CVCC

While overcoming a trauma history due to multiple family losses and a life-threatening eating disorder, Erin answered God’s call to music and outreach ministry at the age of 16.  At 17, she entered an intensive Biblical teaching/discipleship training program in Houston, Texas where she met her husband of now 35 years, Steve Garcia.  They would eventually form the Garcia Family Singers with their 5 children – a music ministry lasting over 25 years, which has become now a family legacy passing down to their now 9 grandchildren!!

Erin would go on to become an inner-city Methodist chaplain at Restore Hope Ministries for almost 3 years, a chapel speaker/singer for John 3:16 Ministries for 6 years, and then a co-pastor along with her husband in various church fellowships including one within their own home which grew to 45 in 3 months!  Their small fellowships seemed to attract “the most upset of the most upset” people, and Erin’s desire to gain further skill in helping these troubled hearts  led to pursuing 3 intense years of becoming equipped and then certified with Elijah House Ministries, Theophostic  Prayer Counseling, and several other “transformational healing” programs.  To enhance her counseling ministry,  she recently has achieved a Professional Coaching Certification through the International Coaching Federation.

Erin has served as a pastoral counselor on the staff of Plumbline Ministries since 2003.  Her passion is for individuals to reach their full wholeness while returning to joy, and she has learned over all that God is the healer, and we as vessels are truly just “one poor beggar showing another poor beggar where to find the bread” – which in this case is the Bread of Life – God’s own Son – the Lord Jesus Christ!!
