Carol Anne McNamara

Carol Anne McNamara was born and raised in Champaign, Illinois.  A family history of mental illness was the introduction at an early age to the issues of mental health.  A strong bible teaching church introduced Carol Anne to a faith in Jesus Christ at the age of nine.  Active participation in Christian youth organizations and a campus ministry in college kept her grounded in the faith and joined with the aforementioned experiences influenced her life direction. 

            Carol Anne graduated from the University of Illinois in 1972 with a degree in Social Work.  Feeling a call to full time ministry she entered into Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX and two years later graduated with a degree in Religious Education.  In the U of I campus ministry, Carol Anne met Rob McNamara whom she married in January of 1975.  Rob also graduated from Southwestern and together they served in campus ministry in Oklahoma for 20 years. 

            In 1998 when Rob was invited to join the staff of Liberty Church in Broken Arrow as an associate pastor, Carol Anne pursued her life-long passion in biblical counseling and joined the staff of Plumbline Ministries as a pastoral counselor in 2001.

            Rob and Carol Anne are the parents of three daughters, Rachel, Amy and Shannon.  Rachel is an elementary education teacher for Union Public Schools.  Amy is married to Nick Agimudie and is an elementary school deaf educator for Tulsa Public Schools.  Shannon is a student at OSU.
