In this class you will learn skills for marriage enhancement. Topics covered will include:
· Communicating effectively with your spouse while understanding emotional responses.
· Developing a safe and supportive relationship and the 51% emotional investment principle.
· Dealing with relationship problems as they arise and understanding “sacrifice” and “submission”.
· Recognizing underlying issues that affect relationships and understanding the nature of strongholds.
· Great expectations and agreements.
· The realistic vs. the unreasonable.
· Incorporating your Christianity in relationship, fun and friendship with your partner.
· Nurturing emotional and sexual intimacy, and
· The importance of forgiveness in relationships, the relationship scale, and trusting God with the punishment due.
Whether you are planning to get married*, are newly married, or have been married for years, join us as we learn about the journey of marriage! If your partner is unable to attend the class with you, or if you are single but would like to know more about healthy relationships we welcome your attendance as well.
The two hour class will be held at Plumbline Ministries, 8222 E. 103rd St., Suite 127, Tulsa, OK 74133, every Saturday for 10 weeks from February 4, 2012 through April 14, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. The course fee will be $65.00 for couples and $35.00 for singles for the entire course plus materials.
*Engaged couples who come to all 10 sessions will be eligible for a $45.00 discount on their marriage license.
$25 deposit per person will be due by Monday, January 24, 2012. This will cover the cost of materials and allow time for them to be ordered. The course fee will be due at the first class session. Call Plumbline Ministries at 918-477-9068 to reserve your spot.
